Manahil Nadir Gilani
A seasoned senior associate with a strong background in corporate and commercial law, excelling in mergers and acquisitions, technology law, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on advising startups, companies, and government departments on strategic and legislative matters.
Manahil is a Senior Associate at our Islamabad office. Prior to joining, she has worked with several prestigious law firms and lawyers in Pakistan mainly in the Corporate and Commercial Practice as well as Civil Litigation.
She has experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Labour, Contractual and Technology Law, including Corporate Compliances and Legislative Drafting. She has contributed to the development of key regulatory frameworks, such as peer-to-peer lending regulations for Non-Banking Finance Companies and amendments to the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002.
She has advised various Startups/ companies offering tech-based services on their licensing, financing, and contractual arrangements, as well as government departments on legislative reforms relevant to the Startup Ecosystem.
She has also contributed to high-impact legal reports, including World Bank-funded projects on land digitization, cadastral mapping and affordable housing initiatives in Punjab.
She likes reading, trekking, and swimming.
