Justice (r) Sipra is the Senior Advisor of the Firm. Prior to returning to legal advisory work in 2005, he held the position of the third Provincial Ombudsman of Punjab for a period of four years (2000-2004). He remained a Judge of the Lahore High Court from 1988 to 1999.
Justice (r) Sipra started his legal practice at Lahore and in due course was enrolled as Advocate of High Court of West Pakistan (as it then was) and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He has been a Legal Advisor to many large companies i.e., textile mills, ghee mills, jute mills, construction companies, import/export firms, R.D.F.C and other government departments; and was on the panel of lawyers of various Banks, Financial Institutions and Government entities.
After having been Federal Counsel, he was appointed as Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan at the principal seat of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In 1988, he was elevated as Judge of the Lahore High Court. In addition to his judicial responsibilities, he represented Pakistan at the United Nations in relation to the negotiations relating to two important conventions i.e. “Convention for The Establishment of International Criminal Court” and “Convention against Terrorist Bombing”. For many years, he remained an active member of the Syndicates/Boards of Universities of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and Taxila.
Justice (r) Sipra is a life member of SOS Village Lahore, Horticulture Society of Pakistan, Youth Hostels Association of Pakistan, Punjab Public Library Lahore, Quaid-e-Azam Public Library Lahore and Dyal Singh Library, Lahore.
