Ali Ibrahim is a partner at the Firm. He was the Managing Partner of another three partner firm Ibrahim, Mowahid & Siddiqi established in Lahore prior to merging his practice with the Firm recently. He has received an LLM degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
Mr. Ibrahim gained corporate and commercial experience during his four years at another leading law firm, Cornelius, Lane & Mufti (CLM). He was involved in many high profile commercial, banking and constitutional litigations and regulatory matters while at CLM and assisted many senior lawyers including those who have since been elevated to the High Court and the current Attorney General of Pakistan. While at the firm, he was exposed to diverse areas of civil law that enabled him to develop a wide ranging skill-set for both contentious and non-contentious matters before the appropriate fora.
Apart from his legal practice, Mr. Ibrahim has also been involved in legal research and consultancy work and worked for some time as the Research Assistant of Justice Jawwad S Khawaja at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Mr. Ibrahim is actively involved in the Non-Governmental and Development sector working as a law and policy consultant for various Civil Society Organizations working at the governmental and the sub-governmental level as well. Mr. Ibrahim thus has developed a unique diversity enabling him to handle over 200 cases personally at the trial and appellate stage while also advising on key commercial, corporate, banking and public policy matters
Mr. Ibrahim received initial legal training at the law offices of Hasan & Hasan and Aitzaz Ahsan & Associates.
