*We are pleased to announce that Mr. Warraich has been appointed as the Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan and is therefore on leave from the Firm for the duration of his employment with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Mr. Ahmad Nazir Warraich is a recipient of two prestigious scholarships; Britannia Chevening and Hubert Humphrey Fellowship (Fulbright). He did his LL.M in International Law from the University of Nottingham (U.K) and a One Year Non-Degree Fellowship in International Human Rights Law and Development, from the Washington College of Law, American University, Washington, D.C. Before that he was educated at Government College Lahore and St. Anthony’s High School, Lahore.
He is an ex civil servant of the O.M.G, and worked in the Law, Justice & Human Rights Division for close to seven years. He is currently Adjunct Faculty at Punjab University, Civil Services Academy and the Pakistan College of Law and is an Advocate of the High Court.
He is a panel advocate of various organizations, including the Punjab Small Industries Corporation, National Bank of Pakistan, WAPDA and the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority. He has extensive experience of doing consultancy and legal advisory work with and for various international development organizations.
In addition, he has been a periodic contributor to various national dailies, including the News, and has a number of research articles to his credit. He has been teaching law courses at leading institutions for the last 14 years and is a mentor to dozens of successful lawyers in Pakistan.
